KELLEY + ROSS

We skipped the football game and frolicked around Ada Hayden instead. It was well worth it.

KALI // SENIOR

The world needs more people like Kali. That's all I have to say about that.

PAIGE + WILL // MT. VERNON, IA

This day could not have been more perfect. This is the kind of wedding I hope to have someday- one full of sunflowers, dancing, family and lots of laughing.

Paige and Will, thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me capture your special day.

KELSEY + TREVOR

Dog + overcast/stormy weather + lots of candid moments = the most perfect shoot. What a fun evening with these two and Gus!

ALICE // SENIOR

You'd never be able to tell by looking at them, but it was 100+ degrees when I took these photos of Alice. What a trooper she is.

ALISSA + JORDAN // ST. CLOUD, MN

If there's one thing I learned in photographing this wedding, it's that the bigger the family, the more fun you have.

Prior to the wedding, I had only met three people and after leaving Minnesota, I knew dozens more. I truly felt like I had known some of these people forever.

SO SO SO much love.

HOPE // SENIOR

So much love for this bundle of joy.

10/10 would recommend tromping around a field and dancing on top of a parking garage.

CORY // SENIOR

My sweet little cousin is a senior now- whaaaat?

Since I can remember, our families have gone down to southern Missouri to spend a week kayaking and canoeing on a crystal-clear river so not only did we do that, but I was asked to take her senior photos as well!

On top of just enjoying the week, after coming back to our cabin every night, we would walk through town and pose in front of stores entitled "The Feed Store" and "The Redneck Co-Op", sit in front of the county jail (it had great light!), climb on top of abandoned school busses and slide down waterfalls at Johnson Shut-Ins.

This is a prime example of what a senior photo session should be about. Adventure is out there, and it's so so much fun.

CHELSEY + AUSTIN

Cute couple alert!! I've known Chelsey for several years, and get this- she's the one that introduced me to the world of Film & Broadcasting at my high school!

SO much fun going around Des Moines with these two. Lots of twirling, lots of bug bites and a lot of laughs.

NICK + VICTORIA

First time photographing a wedding is one for the books! I could not have asked for a more perfect, wonderful, fun time getting to capture Victoria and Nick's special day. I had only met Victoria once (and I barely knew what Nick even looked like!) but the second I walked through the front door to take photos of them getting ready, I felt like I had known them for years. Everyone I met that day was so incredibly friendly and easygoing, it made my job not feel like a job at all!

Victoria put in so much effort planning every single detail, from hand-making all of the table decorations at the reception venue to her one-of-a-kind bouquet made from vintage brooches and even the wedding program. Props to you Victoria, you rock.

Fun fact: Victoria and Nick were each other's first kiss way back in elementary school! They dated for a while, and then after moving to different states, they reconnected many years later and began dating again. How sweet is that?! You hear about high school sweethearts but rarely do you hear about the ones that began in middle school! Their love for each other is something that can't really be described. Shortly after I met him at the hotel room that the groomsmen were staying in, I asked Nick if he was going to cry and needless to say, he was pretty hesitant to admit that he probably would. Not even two hours later, both Nick and Victoria were in tears during their first look.

I am so grateful that I got to witness and capture their wedding day. Nick and Victoria, I will never ever be able to thank you enough for trusting me to photograph you two. I will never forget you guys or your perfect day.
